Immitation Krojby ~Painapurru

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Costumes / Period & Historical

Not really "historical" costume per-say but it is an adaptation of historical Czech clothing. This is kroj in a style similar to the way my great aunt makes them for girls who do traditional Czech dances in America. I was borrowing one from her but it got lost in shipping and didn't show up in time. Consequently, my mother and I sewed this in one day, right down to the petticoat. I think it came out pretty well!
(Disregard how bad I look in this picture, it was about 5:45AM and I'd gotten like 5 hours of sleep)
